Here are some of the most common medical conditions that can treated both in a walk in clinic and via a telehealth walk in clinic.
Number 5: Insect bites and stings: These are usually treated with topical corticosteroids, cleaning with soap and water along with close monitoring
Number 4: Skin infections. Like when the skin looks red, irritated, warm, hard, or painful. This is treated with antibiotics. A popular choice is Keflex.
Number 3: Uncomplicated UTIs. If you have burning, painful urination, urgency, frequency, or a feeling of fullness. This is treated with antibiotics. Oftentimes, Macrobid is used
Number 2: Tick bites. If you had a tick attached that was engorged, or on for longer than 36 hours, we give a one time dose of Doxycycline. If you notice a circular rash, we prescribe doxycycline for at least 10 days and have you followup with your primary care doctor.
Number 1: Sinus infections. If you have been sick for longer than 10 days with congestion, postnasal drip, and facial pressure, OR if you experienced improvement and sudden worsening of symptoms, antibiotics such as Augmentin are recommended for treatment. This can be easily prescribed via a telehealth walk in clinic.
